"When you say that print comics are still catering to the collector's market, it leads people to assume you either think that only superhero comics are being pirated or that all print comics are superhero comics. Small and independent comic publishers that don't cater to the collectors market and print in black & white are also victims of online piracy. I know for a fact Radio Comic has had problems with people scanning their comics and putting them online in the past."
And they're working in an industry that has been designed for collectors. That's one of the reasons they have to be utterly exceptional to get noticed.

"Killing off the direct market won't save print comics. If anything, it'll just hurt the companies that cater to a broader audience because the local 7-11 doesn't want to take a chance with a comic they never heard of."
Actually, that's what happens in the direct market. Ever take a look at the Diamond book? Non big publisher stuff vanishes into the inky depths. There are shop owners who do their best to pick up a wide variety, but with Marvel and Dc publishing a few hundred books a month, there is usually little room for the indies. Much like the Comics Code Authority, the big hero book publishers saw something they could use to dominate and control the business, and they've done it.

And I don't think it's too big of a stretch to recognize that sales have decreased as comics have left the public eye. Back when I was a kid, if a comic was selling what Identity Crisis was selling, it'd be cancelled.

And for 7-11, putting up comics in the way they used to be put up (returnable) before the direct market would be acceptable to them because they will see a way to grab the kiddy market as they walk past the magazine rack with little financial risk on their part.

National Hunger Month

 the world, almost one-billion people don't have enough food to eat. Even in the United States, more than 40-million people go hungry. Despite the abundance of food in the world, hunger plagues large populations, and starvation awaits those who hunger without relief. November is a good time for some church to consider the reality of hunger in our world, and to study and pray for solutions. In many ways America is the land of plenty. But for 1 in 6 Americans hunger is a reality. Many people believe that the problems associated with hunger are confined to small pockets of society, certain areas of the country, or certain neighborhoods, but the reality is much different.  Everyday people suffer from hunger having nothing to eat, people die and sometimes people starve for a whole day without eating anything.

UT AMERICA is a great nation we can stop this by if we can bring our hands together to become equal and become one ACCORD we can stop this thing that is bring disaster to human and so that we  can stop people from suffering from hunger.

N places like sub-Saharan Africa, where staple foods like grains account for nearly half of all calories consumed, rising food prices can cripple families and communities. The price of maize increased by 80 percent in just two years. In places wheat prices shot up 70 percent, while the cost of rice increased by 25 percent. Basic nutritional necessities like these have become impossibly expensive for people already captive to poverty, many of whom live on less than $2 a day. If we all help end hunger we shall be a stronger nation.

The origin of football soccer can be found in every corner of geography and history. The Chinese, Japanese, Italian, ancient Greek, Persian, Viking and many more played a ball game long before our era. The Chinese played foot ball games date as far back 3000 years ago. The ancient Greek and the roman used football games to sharpen warriors for battle. Soccer and football were so common in England. B ut it was in England that soccer and football really begin to take place, but it all started in 1863 in England when two football association(football and rugby football) split off on their different course. Therefore the first football association was founded in England. On October 1963, eleven London clubs and school sent their representative to the freemason’s Tavern. The representatives were intent on clarifying the muddle by establishing a set of fundamental rules, acceptable to all parties, to govern the matches played among them. This meeting marked the birth of football association. Soccer and football were the most common sport in England, London, and Spain.
